Local Areas Service Bodies Regional Meeting Minutes Region Guidelines WSO Info Contact Us Events Calendar Meetings Colorado N.A. Welcome to the Colorado Narcotics Anonymous website. If you’re new to NA and wondering where to start, we suggest you attend a meeting as soon as possible. You’ll be able to get your questions answered. If you’re not sure if you have a drug problem, we suggest you attend a meeting as soon as possible. There you’ll be able to ask questions and explore your relationship with drugs, and decide for yourself if you need to seek an active program of recovery from drug addiction. But let’s get real, people without drug problems typically don’t sit around wondering if they have a drug problem. CRCNA XXXIV Information The CRCNA 34 Committee and the Colorado Regional Service Committee regret to inform the fellowship that this year’s Regional Convention has been postponed till November 12-14, 2021 due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the difficulty in guaranteeing the safety of our members and their families and friends. We look forward to seeing you next year for a fantastic convention! Western Service Learning Days Denver CO Click Here To Find a Meeting Near You NA is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs. There is only one requirement for membership, the desire to stop using. This web site was created and is maintained for the use by recovering addicts throughout the Colorado Region of NA and those seeking more information about recovery from addiction to drugs. If you are looking for a solution to your drug problem, give yourself a break, open your mind and explore the possibilities of recovery from drug addiction. Please use the tabs above to navigate through the site. This web site does maintain usage statistics through information that is freely available through your internet connection, but does not use cookies or place any files on your computer. This site does not and will never share that information with anyone else and will never take money for advertising. The Colorado Regional Service Committee welcomes your feedback on accessibility and ease of use of our web site. Please use our contact us page to send us your feedback. In light of the challenges facing the fellowship and Colorado Region we have enabled a direct contribution through Venmo. You can send person, meeting or area donations directly to @CRSCNA. Are You New to NA? The simple message of Narcotics Anonymous is… “That an addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use and find a new way to live” New If you’re new to NA, then we recommend you attend a meeting , as soon as possible. There you can discuss several important things: Discuss your drug problem and if you’re an addict What NA is all about – including what the 12 steps are How to get a sponsor And the time-tested recommendations we have for the newcomer that help ensure their success We’re not here to tell you if you’re an addict. That is only something you can decide for yourself. But most “normies” don’t sit around wondering, if they have a drug problem… So, we recommend you give yourself a break, and see what this new way of life can offer you. “We are not interested in what or how much you used or who your connections were, what you have done in the past, how much or how little you have, but only in what you want to do about your problem and how we can help. The newcomer is the most important person at any meeting, because we can only keep what we have by giving it away. We have learned from our group experience that those who keep coming to our meetings regularly stay clean.” You can always return to your old way of life. What NA Is Not There are some misconceptions about what NA is and isn’t… We hope this helps clarify some of that: NA is not a cult NA is not a religious program There are no cops, professionals, therapists or even experts at NA There are no committments, pledges to sign or promises to make – TO ANYONE – EVER. There are no secret handshakes If you think you might have a drug problem, give yourself a break and checkout a meeting .
